Tomorrowland Review.

We all know Disney's movies have been up beat and happy. With Tomorrowlands message it shows the dark side of humanity and how we are the only way we can fix it. With much to consider, the fate of the world is put into one girl's hands, Casey.

It starts with a young boy who has the dream that his jet pack will work. He travels to the World Fair, but to his disappointment he was denied entrance since, Nix (Hugh Laurie) said it wouldn't work.

When we fast forward the focus is on Casey, a teenager who is an engineer wiz. As she is arrested for trying to interfere with the take down of the rocket launching pad, she discovers the special pin in the mix of her stuff. Unknowingly she touches the pin and takes a glimpse of the futuristic world. On her journey to find another pin to take her back to Tomorrowland, she runs into two robots. Athena (Raffey Cassidy) saves Casey from the killer robots and takes her on a trip to Frank's (George Clooney) house.

With the killer robots on their trail, Frank, who used to have a pin of his own, refuses to let Casey go back to Tomorrowland. Although Frank was being stubborn, Casey gave him new found hope when Frank saw Casey make the percentage of the end of the world flicker.

Throughout the movie the storyline and dialogue are great. With interesting scenes to go with the dialogue it keeps you watching through the whole movie. The action scenes played a good part as well. With the killer robots going after Casey and then to meet at Frank's house, it had some great sections to keep your attention.

The movie starts with Frank telling his story of how he got to Tomorrowland and then goes to Casey's story. Some may say this was hard to follow and it needed more background for Frank's story, but I thought it was easy to follow. It was an interesting way to tell the story from Frank and Casey's point of view.

The ending message shows the dark side of humanity, but Bird has a creative way of showing that we need to feed the right wolf. Putting the fate of the world into one girl's hands, who is told to be herself, shows how normal people can make a difference. Bird does a great job showing how creativity and diversity can change the world.

Although this movie is rated PG, the message will most likely go in one ear and out the other for younger ages. For anyone older, it is a must watch. Come to see humor, action, and thrills in this Disney movie and leave with the thought in your head, we can fix it.
