Review of Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010) by Kevin L — 17 Sep 2010
Spoiler:
I gave it 2 stars. 1 for the scenario: which is pretty good. The whole Asian invasion...etc very plausible. N another star for the effort. It is definitely better than all the others B rated Australian movies out there.
So y it fail: Very bad character...the group is just too lame. N all their fake corporation is glue with nothing, no friendship, crappie fake puppy love...etc.
Second, crappie casting. Okay, Rachel acting is good but definitely wrong character. Lee is pretty cool n the greek also play his role well but the rest??What the hell? Go to acting skol for god sake.
The movie as a whole is pretty bad, I don't know who edited that movie, but dude so many useless n lame scene should have been left out. It take ages to get into n the end is so bad...wow.
N the cherry on top of that crappie movie, It take an Aussie movie to bring the bad crowd. Just because u saw that dude on tv for year does not mean u have the right to comment or talk about him in the theater. Just my experience: 1 granny group who spend all time eating noisily in the movie, 2 teenage groups who talk every time Lewis got on screen (excited groopies ) and last 1 rubbish rude people, who were smoking n drunk in the theater.
