Review of Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010) by Jani M — 01 Jan 2011
Red Dawn in Oz. Party of australian teenagers (among them gorgeous Phoebe Tonkin from that mermaid series) go spend weekend camping in bush. While there their hometown (and most of Australia) is invaded by foreign army (of asian origin).
With all adults captured they have only one thing to do ... to fight back. Nice action amongst teenage drama, some humorous situations. Pretty light hearted thing considering the subject. Film ended like it was intended as pilot for tv-series.
Still fun little movie.
