For a top-selling Australian novel series, this film adaptation clearly surprises me with its delightful Down Under flavour. The grit by teens just right, the emotion resonating, the humour tongue-in-cheek.
I loved the Dawson's Creek feel interjecting at just the right junctures as well as the perfectly compatible soundtrack. Looking forward to all 6 sequels for the big screen!
