This is a good Australian movie, and not just because it's a faithful adaptation of a well-loved book. The action feels realistic and doesn't take over the whole movie.....The cinematography is beautiful, showcasing the beauty of the Australian outback.
... Most surprisingly, for a cast of largely unknown young actors , the acting is pretty good ....It is a worthy adaptation of the first installment and let's hope for the next installment, "The Dead of the Night".
