Review of Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010) by Daniel C — 29 Apr 2011
Basically, a story about a group of teenagers who go away on a holiday and return home to find the place (Australia) invaded by an unknown military force.
True enough to the book, this isn't the worst movie I've seen but I can see why people would have problems with it. The acting isn't much better than what we'd expect from an Aussie soap like Home and Away or Neighbours, the story is a little implausible but it does follow the book very well.
As an Australian movie though, I think it did a better job than 'Australia'.
