Review of Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010) by Ben H — 30 Jun 2011
Interesting film based on a good series of books. for an Australian film on a small budget (compared to hollywood) it has good acting and reasonable effects with a pretty good story. if this had been given an over the top budget and a couple of big name actors this would be hailed as the red dawn of our generation but as its a small film with relatively unknown actors it wont of attracted the same hype as say the spate of bad super hero movies coming out this year.
as for the race issues the only ones I could possibly see are either the lack of a black cast member or the unnamed Asian invasion forces neither of which seem like a racial issue that affected the book so why the film?
