Review of Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010) by Garrick J — 04 Jul 2011
I really want to support Australian Cinema. Our past successes in this area have not given lip-service to the vast Hollywood conglomerates and this film fails mainly due to its efforts to match a billion dollar industry.
The performers are on the whole very good, the script is beyond belief in its awkwardness and the storyline is fully of holes that you could drive a petrol tanker through.....this could have succeeded if the glib relationships between the characters was more the focus of the film rather than an unsuccessful "teenagers beat the invaders" plot.
