Review of Tommy Boy (1995) by Zach M — 11 Mar 2012
I've never been a huge fan of Chris Farley or David Spade movies and when I first saw this I wasn't all that impressed but I just recently rewatched it and actually found it very funny.
Chris Farley was quite good as the lovable goofball and David Spade was decent as the sarcastic sidekick.
It felt a lot like the movie 'Planes, Trains & Automobiles' with the two leads being similar as well.
Dan Akroyd played the big business owner who wanted to buy the company that Chris Farley was trying to save, as a very good sleaze ball.
