Review of Tombstone (1993) by Logan G — 24 Nov 2011
This film has everything. Action/Adventure, romance, drama, thriller, even comedy! This film has something for every moviegoer. The acting in this film - heck, the entire film - got overlooked by critics.
I wouldn't go so far to call it the best acting performance of all time or nothing but Val Kilmer did an astonishing job as Doc Holiday. Kurt Russel is as 'bad' as ever. It's an absolute joy to watch.
The cinematography is good as well. While the directing isn't extremely impressive, it's definitely above par. The story telling and character development is phenomenal, it makes up for any part of the film that isn't exemplary as the rest of it .
. . not to mention the awesome mustaches.
