Review of Tombstone (1993) by Marco S — 06 Jan 2011
Solid good Westerner with memorable performances. But anyone who is seriously into westerns will tell you, this is definitely one the most overrated Westerns ever made. Not quite sophisticated enough to be a classic Hollywood Western, not quite as raw and as rough as a Spaghetti Western. The film feels like a neutered Spaghetti Western, or a Peckinpah film that was made by Disney.
Once again good Western but it gets over hyped by people who come from a generation that thinks Jurassic Park is the greatest film ever made and don't even watch Westerns to begin with.
