Tombstone is my favorite western of all time. It's the best as far as acting and story. Just because its not eastwood or J. wayne doesnt't mean it isnt great. It's the best acted western ever! eastwood, Wayne and all those other old school guys are great for sure but they are monotoned and the same tough talking character.
Val Kilmer and Kirt Russel give by far the best performances of there careers. Kilmers Doc Holliday ranks with some of the greatest ever.
