Review of Tomboy (2011) by Cmakos14 . — 25 Jun 2014
Another French film that is unafraid to expose true realities and problems that goes on with today's youths. Focused on a young girls journey to find her own identity through different genders, but is confronted by obstacles of prejudice and reality itself.
One cant help but feel and care for this young girl, played very well by Zoe Heran (Laure/Mikael), as she experiences such hardships at such an early age. An important and powerful movie like this only comes once and a while, and is a must see.
