Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by Ryan C — 21 Jun 2018

First of all I didn't expect this movie to be good but this movie is Definitely good, Great Cinematography, Acting, Story, everything is great. Even though I haven't played any of the Tomb Raider games, this movie is good itself.

Let's start first with the characters. at first I thought Alicia Vikander won't nail it as Lara Croft, but I was wrong, She is great in the film. Her acting was great. She did a great performance and the whole cast did great. She may be a little bit skinny but she is brave and fierce in the movie.

The character development of her is great but the supporting actor who helped him to find her father in the movie didn't developed that much.

The fighting scenes are great, they're still there and Alicia Vikander proves that she can do it, that she can do stunts which is great. the action sequences are visually stunning.

The movie is a 2 hour film but for me it's still a little bit fast paced, the story is good though, there might be some flaws, might be a little weak but it's still good. Even though I don't play games that much, I'd say this is the first Good movie based off of a video game.

A good movie, I recommend everyone to watch it, specially if you're a big fan of The Tomb Raider games. 7.5/10.
