Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by Louis T — 18 Mar 2018
The new origin story may not be up to much, but Alicia Vikander proves that you don't need giant breasts to be a fantastic Lara Croft. Vikander makes the character believable and personable, despite Lara's new attitude to her wealth.
Fear not though, as by the end of the film we find her ready to take on both her heritage and her new destiny. This sets up the new series of films and is hampered by its very nature as an origin story, but as a launching point into future stories it is just what fans of Tomb Raider need.
