If you leave your expectations at the door, 'Tomb Raider' w/ Alicia Vikander is a decent movie. If you're expecting Oscar worthy performances or award winning dialog, shame on you. Tomb Raider is about action-adventure and nothing else.

There are no super-human powers. No alien space tech from across the universe. No inter-galactic world crushing bad guy. What you do get is Lara Croft chasing her father's ghost half way around the world to a remote island in an attempt to stop people from unearthing the goddess of death.

Yes, this movie is flawed but there is enough action to hold your attention for two hours. If you're good with that, great, just remember to leave your expectations at the door. It may not be worth full price, but it is worth your time.
