Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by Liam K — 25 Mar 2018

This film is an amazing adaptation of the new games, similar enough to exite fans yet new enough to surprise us. A lot of people are complaining that he body isn't as curvy as Angelina Jolie, but that's not the point of Lara, she's not a sex icon she's a powerful woman.

As for the other complaints, it's an origin story and a brilliant one at that, the gun toting fully fledged acrobat Tomb Raider is clearly now set up for next time. I personally think this is the best game adaptation yet and loads better than the original Tomb Raider films that are only really popular because of physical attraction to Angelina's chest, as the story of that film is so weak compared to this one.
