Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by José Carlos Á — 26 Mar 2018
After a long plagued history of dogged video game movies, it's assuring to call this one at least "okay". Alicia Vikander fits into her action-loving character like a glove - and thankfully with zero female objectification.
The effects and designs also deserve mention. Of course, the one thing that's always a problem, and it causes a lot of head-scratching as to why it is, is a plot with plenty of holes and flat characters.
