Just like with the games the reboot did wonders for this francise. There is a decent amount of fanservice crammed into this flick as well as great acting from Wikanders side. When it comes to adaptations from videogames to the silverscreen it rarely turns out this well.

I didn't enjoy the antagonists at all though and that might be where this movie falls short. But I was invested in the story throughout and hyped for a follow-up. People seem like to have problem with Wikander on the basis that she is a woman as well, 2018 is apparently not ready for a strong female protagonist which I find very sad.
