Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by Virgonoshaka — 24 Mar 2018

So as a big fan of the new Tomb Raider games, I saw the trailer and I said: "Wow, that really looks good, and so much like the game" and immediately after said: "Can't wait to be disappointed".

And lo and behold, just as expected. Now to be fair, the movie is not terrible, Alicia Vikander does a ok job and the sound is nice, and it really looks like the game. But the story is just soo many cliches, and the bad guy.

.. uuuuhhh look he is so bad, and the execution is just so generic and boring, that I can't believe that the japanese published game makes more sense as a story. So as a dumb action flick... I guess is ok.

As a movie and an adaptation? Plain bad. Can't wait to be disappointed in the sequel.
