Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by Kiank — 17 Mar 2018

I'm placing my score much higher than it probably should be only because I played the game and really appreciated all the references to the video game. The best scene of the movie was her jumping off the ship, the ship scene was really reminiscent of the video game.

The villain was a very typical villain and the action scenes were hit or miss. I thought the story was decently done but the video game portrays it much better. His death was a bit laughable and I thought it was funny how it turned into The Last of Us with the infected.

Overall, I would give it a 6.6.
