Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by Rosie C — 31 May 2018
Alicia Vikander takes every opportunity in this film to show off her splendid skills... of hanging off stuff. Multiple cliffhangers in this film are literally Lara clinging on to various objects - a plane, a boat, a wall etc All credit to her though - she's obviously been working out! Sadly Lara's buffness is not enough to distract from the dodgy script, naff acting and poor CGI.
The baddie's alright, but isn't that always the way?! Best way to enjoy this film? Take a shot every time you see Lara suspended in the air doing a pull up - you'll be smashed, and ideally asleep before it finishes.
