Tomb Raider is a surprisingly good movie, being an adaptation of a videogame of course. I myself have played the rebooted Tomb Raider games and the movie comes surprisingly close to those games. Alicia Vikander is very good as Lara Croft and the acting overall by all actors was good. The CGI was half-half, not good, not bad. The soundtrack was pretty unmemorable and the plot was rather simple. But still, the movie maintains a certain tone and feel throughout and it executes its rather simple plot pretty well. Some of the physics were completely ignored and realism was not dealt with in some scenes but, as I said, It's pretty good. Overall it's not groundbreaking for the videogame-movie genre, but definitely the best one I've seen so far.
