I thought Dead Alive was the goriest film I had ever seen. I'm not going to say this blew it away, but pretty close to it. The satire of all the violence, sex, and drugs in Japanese horror films are emphasized as over the top as they could make it.

There was a scene where I was processing in my head as it happened, how much further they could go, and they literally did the crazy thing I was thinking. *Broken bottle bit. Eihi Shiina has some kind of cold gaze.

Great in the film Audition as well. This is one you are definitely gonna have fun laughing at and talking about afterward with some friends. But only, if you're into this kinda stuff. This is the goriest and dirtiest it gets.
