Review of Tokyo Godfathers (2003) by Andrew T — 30 Jan 2008

The story of a mismatched group taking care of a baby due to unbelievable circumstances is a story that isn't mindblowingly fresh. However, what Satoshi Kon has done in his written/directed anime feature is simply marvelous.

I really enjoyed his highly modified take on this tale. The characters were very colorful in their own right and they made it all work just great. It's so good, I think it can warm the heart of most of the anime haters out there.
