It's colorful, stylish, humorous, fun, and interesting to watch. The studios hired Seijun Suzuki to direct a completely generic movie that no one would remember. He made this and the studio was angry.
Well, it's easily one of my favorite movies at all, so whatever Seijun did with this one that was wrong...I'm very thankful for it!
