Review of Together (2002) by Franz O — 15 Mar 2008
The moment I started watching the film, I said... "Well, it's gonna be some boring movie again. As usual...".
But I soon found myself late because I went on watching the movie up to the end.
Together is an outstanding cinematic production which pokes the heart. The story is very touching, and the events, though simple, invoke feelings of sympathy, sadness and empathy.
Acting was great, especially for the actor who played the role of the violinist. The characters were also very memorable, and it seemed as if they were easy to access.
The ending was just marvelous...
All in all, the movie had the power of invoking pure human emotion and I think had it been nominated for an Oscar, it would have gotten very good reception.
