Review of To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995) by Ruby S — 28 Nov 2007
Drag versions of Martha Stewart, Grace Jones, and Jenifer Lopez get stuck in wild, wonderful West Virginia. I was surprised by the humanity of this movie, almost in spite of its gross caricatures of race, gender, and region.
Swayze and Snipes are too muscular to pass for women for more than a few minutes, but Leguizamo was hott!
It reminded me a lot of "But I'm a Cheerleader" which is a Very Good Thing.
