Review of To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995) by Dr. A — 13 Sep 2011
It was just OK... likeable, but nothing out of the ordinary. A road movie that stops somewhere in Hicksville. Yes, it's sorta funny, but it's more of a drama... the soundtrack is almost absent.
It will keep you watching, but don't expect much... don't even bother thinking you'll get a movie even remotely close to The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of The Desert, cos you'll hit yourself in the head with that.
It's just a "funny" flick with a bit of a message that tried way to hard to be funny at the expense of drag queens' sake.
