Unfortunately, this movie is like a 2hour perfume ad, everyone posing and voguing and the story incomprehensible. I'm a person who loved Tree of Life, really got that movie, a true piece of art in my view.
Terence Malick's seriously missteps in this one. Boring, vague beyond interest and the main female character is childish to the point of absolute annoyance. Why does Ben Affleck's character do anything he does? Who knows?! He must say about 5 words in this film.
What was lovely in Tree of Life is here overdone. Or underdone as the case may be.......very disappointing.
