Review of To the Wonder (2013) by Steven B — 03 May 2013
While it doesn't pack as potent a punch as "Tree of Life", Malick presents another cinematic prayer exploring the themes of love and relationships. While slow and ponderous, I found To The Wonder moving, inspiring and deeply spiritual.
It will certainly not appeal to all audiences, but for those who see beauty, it is profound.
