This movie is highly underrated. Judging it by the plot misses the point by far. It's depth and sensitivity are to be found by a contemplating the images. The German mystic Jakob Boehme had a revelation of the Godhead by seeing a ray of light reflected in a tin plate.
It took him years to convey what he had experienced...
