Review of To the Wonder (2013) by Jessica T — 30 Aug 2013
Terrence Malick has an exquisite eye for capturing life: how fleeting happiness is, our mutability, the war waging inside the cornered human soul trying to reconcile irrepressible idealism with temperamental reality.
Even when things become irrevocably broken, we never stop trying, keeping our hope for love and light alive. With a beautiful score, thought-provoking story and dazzling Olga Kurylenko, Malick delivers another edifying experience.
