While Marti Noxon's direction and screenplay can simultaneously turn "To the Bone" into a funny and enjoyable movie, it can also make it darker and realistic, people already know what eating disorders are, but everyone must understands those issues and see every situation from the sick people's point of view.
Actors like Keanu Reeves and Lili Taylor are great as usual, but Lily Collins does her best, this might be her carrer-defining role so far. Marti Noxon isn't afraid of depicting a real portrayal of troubled young people.
