Review of To Sir, with Love (1967) by Robert S — 04 Jan 2009
I was in high school when this movie came out and have always loved it. This is the first time I've seen it since having traveled quite a bit in the UK and it holds up well. Okay, its predictable, but how can you watch a movie with Sidney Poitier and not understand what bearing and self respect means.
A funny side note is the older woman teacher is Patricia Routledge who went on to Hyacinth Bouquet and Heddie Wainthrope fame.
