Review of To Sir, with Love (1967) by Jordan P — 25 Jun 2014
This is a film that really drives in what it means to be an adult. It's important to resolve differences without losing your temper, important to be educated and to speak well, cultivate a sense of honor rather than pride, don't be a cheap sell, treat everyone with courtesy, and always forgive, even if the person receiving the forgiveness isn't worthy of it.
You can be the toughest person around and it isn't necessary for you to throw around that strength, being kind is better. You need to do what is right no matter how people may talk about you, and we all bleed the same.
I love how politically incorrect this film is for our day, and yet how it really drives in all of the important messages, especially the one that maturity is for everyone.
