Review of To Save a Life (2009) by Heather N — 01 Feb 2010
The critics' reviews amaze me. If they went to see an action film, would they criticize it as having too much action? Of course, this is a Christian movie. It is billed as such. If you accept that fact from the beginning, you will like the film.
It is the first "non-cheezy" Christian movie I've seen. The acting is top-notch. It is definitely geared toward adolescents and the parents of adolescents, and the message it delivers will spur family discussions.
If you are a Christian or someone searching for faith, this movie will appeal to you. If you are a critic of Christianity, it appears you will also be a critic of the movie.
