Review of To Save a Life (2009) by Steve S — 10 Aug 2010
** (out of four).
Randy Wayne stars as a Southern California High School student who has it all. He is good looking, a star athlete and the most popular kid in school. He starts questioning the existance of God when the childhood friend who he had turned his back on commits suicide.
The film is extremely well meaning and has some decent points. But it can never get over the fact that it feels like and after school special from the Trinity network. You always feel like you are watching a religious recruiting film. It's portrayal of teen life throws in every single stereotype and cliche ever used.
