Review of To Save a Life (2009) by Nathan W — 30 Dec 2010
This is an honest portrayal of teen issues and confronts those issues with hope. This movie is amazing. It really expresses what teenagers go through on a day to day basis.Very few films out there take the time to try and be real to teens and their real issues.
It really challenged me to make a difference and stand up for what I believe in.I especially like the thing Jake says "whats the point in all this if your not going to let this change you?" it didn't seem preachy at all.
I'd watch it again and again! I think what the movie showed more than anything is how good or bad decisions can affect more than just ourselves.VERY good movie. ALL high school students and parents should be shown this movie!!! Highly recommend it!!Don't miss this.
It's a film you will want to give to people because it can maybe help them. not cheesy or campy. good plot,This film is well acted by the main character and is beautiful to look at. it is well directed and edited.
