Review of To Save a Life (2009) by Lee Ann C — 04 Mar 2011
To save a life is probably one of the most intense christian films I have ever seen. It is seriously good, but with a few flaws all christian films have. Those flaws are lack of budget (this movie did well anyway, although all of the fake websites, like 'Ourspace', are rather unnecessary), bad actors (this movie had good actors, and bad actors), and as some of the other reviewers said, there still is a lack of realism.
The film is about really mature things, suicide, drinking, etc, but the movie, since it was intended to be shown at youth groups and churches, has been toned down a bit too much. This is definitely a fresh tomato, but I want it to be a bit fresher.
