Review of To Rome with Love (2012) by Geoffrey T — 17 Jul 2012
I'd say it's minor Woody. It has neither the emotional resonance of something brilliant like Manhattan or the dreadful WHY AM I WATCHING THIS quality of his films in the early 2000s. Two of the stories are really charming and funny, and the other two seem less interesting in comparison.
It treads familiar territory and does it well, and Allen and Davis together are hilarious.
