Review of To Rome with Love (2012) by Cody W — 24 Aug 2012
I must say it is Very Woody, and guess every one would agree. But frankly I was quite impressed by the flirting skill of Ellen Page, which I admit I lived by that once. That is, to throw out some jargons, or quotes from a sonnet, or theories from some famous scholars, aggrandizing one's knowledge.
That's why most of the names appeared in the dialogues, like Ayn's fountainhead, Kierkegaard, Yeats, Caruso, were simply acquainted with me. Yet it is only for flirtation, making friends, and nothing more unless you go deeper, search for the real fountainhead of knowledge.
After all I made up my mind and started to treat everything seriously. And thanks Woody once again has reminded me of this little self promise.
