Review of To Rome with Love (2012) by Brianna M — 15 Dec 2012
Somewhat interesting film that tells several tales. There's a running theme of adultery and fame in each of them that ties them together, which was more obvious in some tales then others. The architect's tale was the best, I loved that part.
The tale of the roman who suddenly becomes famous was good when I saw it, but the more I thought about the meaning of it the more I started to really like it. The young couples story was just okay. The retired opera director and the singer's story was funny.
Though when it comes to films I've seen directed by Woody Allen I much preferred Midnight in Pairs.
