The movie covers different aspects of being rich and famous through different tales and characters: somebody continuously desiring, somebody maddeningly craving and failing, somebody falling in and out of being famous without rhyme or reason, somebody getting a brush with the rich and famous, somebody satisfied at a short shot at it etc.
As expected with any Woody movie, the aspects are covered reasonably absorbingly and without any single encompassing conclusions. To each on his or her own.
