Review of To Rome with Love (2012) by Genine T — 03 Feb 2013
This is the best film Woody Allen has made since the heyday of Annie Hall and Manhattan. Allen manages to create multiple Fellini-esque strands of romantic comedy intertwined with social satire. His time travel sequence, involving architect John's remembrances of love-past, is a stroke of brilliance.
And Allen returns to play his own neurotic, death-obsessed character with yet another twist of comic genius. Don't miss it!
