Review of To Rome with Love (2012) by Amber V — 05 Jan 2013
Definitely not among his best, but it is still Woody. It still felt like him. I had a wonderful time watching this movie last summer, very funny and entertaining. The tenor who could only sing in the shower and Roberto Benigni's inexplicable (and hilarious!) situation had me rolling.
My kind of humor. Jesse Eisenberg's story, and Alec as his voice of reason, served as a wake up call for those of us who are easily charmed and infatuated. And then there's Woody, who can only play Woody in every movie.
And I'm completely fine with that.
