Review of To Return (1982) by Chase G — 04 May 2010
This has to be one of Almodóvar's best films yet. Penélope Cruz shines as bright as does the directing, story line, and supporting cast. One of the best things about "Volver" as well as most of his films, the plot is so complex, real, and intriguing while at the same containing a hint of mysticism, magic, or the unknown.
This film truly is a triumph!
