Review of To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) by Eric — 18 Jul 2009
Tense, superbly paced cop thriller set in an amoral, vapid Los Angeles of the 1980's. some really good technical work, some great acting and just the right amount of 80's cheese. when Peterson utters the line "you want bread, go fuck a baker" I thought it might be the best line ever uttered in a film.
Friedkin is the master at putting together elaborate car chase sequences! instant favorite.
