Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Julian S — 31 Jul 2011
After revisited the book a while ago, I decided to purchase the DVD and gave a try to the movie version of my all-time favourite novel.
While the production firm has to make some adaption so as to better suit the movie length (I guess 129mins is pretty long back in to 60s), the movie largely followed faithfully to the original story.
Gregory Peck and Mary Badham made classic performance but I guess one thing people should also pay attention is the opening credit, in terms of the approach, sequence, shooting angles and all that, unbelieveable.
Very good especially comparing to what we are going through in "modern" movie era nowadays...
