Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Joshua B — 04 Dec 2010
Arguably the best adaptation of any Modern novel, Robert Mulligan's To Kill A Mockingbird is every bit as memorable as Harper Lee's. Fatherhood, innocence, scapegoating, and tolerance are all timeless themes, and they're all at work here.
It's for good reason that the AFI named Gregory Peck's Atticus Finch the #1 best movie hero of all time.
